Malibu has twenty-one miles of beaches, each with its own character. Some draw surfers and crowds, others shelter marshes and wildlife preserves. For ceremonies, we look for the quieter stretches of sand and surf, framed by rock formations and wide ocean views.
Ceremonies are held at sunrise or sunset. Permits, when required, are additional.
Griffith Observatory Elopements
Situated in Griffith Park, Griffith Observatory is the world’s most visited observatory, featuring sweeping views of downtown Los Angeles, the Hollywood Sign, and the Pacific Ocean. Opened in 1935, the iconic venue pairs grand Art Deco architecture with elegant Beaux-Arts details, creating a cinematic backdrop famous for scenes in Rebel Without a Cause, The Terminator, and La La Land.

Located 40 miles east of Los Angeles, this high desert state park features dramatic rock formations, native desert flora, and sweeping landscapes. Famous as the backdrop for iconic films and TV shows like Star Trek, Planet of the Apes, and The Twilight Zone, it offers a unique, cinematic setting for your wedding.
